I think his resignation is fishy. And I voted for Obama. Doesn’t change my mind about voting for him! I just think there’s more to it than an affair.

Edit: I’d use any excuse I could find not to work for Obama too. I can’t believe people still voted for Obama, he obviously can’t do the job, so let somebody else do it.

I think Obama is cleaning house and wants everyone gone who might be able to testify about the attack in Ben Ghazi. This is just the first sweep. He doesn’t want the truth to get out. This isn’t the first time he dug dirt to get rid of someone. It is typical tactics for him. Sorry but hard to answer this question without a bit of opinion involving politics.

Gen. Petraeus was scheduled to testify over Benghazi. He is seen as one of the people who has a lot knowledge regarding the situation.
Do I think that the affair coming out now, one week before he was to testify, is suspicious? You bet. There have even been Obama Administration officials who’ve said that he won’t be testifiying, now that he’s resigned – which is absolute BS. Members of Congress have said that, if necessary, they are willing to go as far as to subpoena Gen. Petraeus to appear.

I think he should have resigned. He had an affair with a woman who co-authored his biography and it appears that he shared things with her regarding national security which he shouldn’t have. He lost the trust of the President because of a serious breach in judgment and for that reason should no longer be Director of the CIA. It’s a real shame because until now he was highly thought of by everyone.
