We can round up Neo-Nazis, Klansmen, Latin Kings, and Bloods in prisons throughout the US and move them to Gitmo since they fit the definition of “terrorist” and that should take the “torture camp” stink off of Gitmo, right? The way the Patriot Act is written a terrorist, any terrorist, is not entitled to the American Justice System, right? The law doesn’t focus directly on Muslim Extremists. Eco and Narco terrorist also fit the bill to.

Hell I’ll agree with that.
only thing is, gitmo is actually a very very comfortable prison the cost we pay per prisoner is like 40 times greater then regular prisoners.
Better idea would be to put a prison in a cold area with a more death camp appeal

The bad thing about the Patriot Act is that the word “terrorist” is undefined.
So would a deadbeat dad not paying his child support be classified as a “domestic terrorist”?
What about someone who got a DUI? Would they be classified as a “Road terrorist”, especially if they were a repeat offender?

Actually it would make the concept of Gitmo even more wrong. If we sacrifice our system of justice to buy an illusion of security we’ve lost this “war” long time ago.
